Equipment questions
The terms are often used for related wet-grinding equipment, and “sand mill” remains a useful industry synonym. Equipment selection should still be based on mill geometry, media and separation approach, feed condition, target result and production method.
Pre-dispersion helps create a more uniform and transferable feed. The condition required should be defined by the downstream grinding route, especially the largest incoming particles, viscosity behavior and solids distribution.
