Is a dynamic-gap separator always better than a screen separator?

No. The cited manufacturer examples show that different named machines and options use different separator arrangements. Selection must be tied to the proposed mill, media, product, process route, wear and cleaning requirements, then confirmed by the responsible suppliers and representative testing.

Can one gap-to-bead-size ratio be used for every bead mill?

No universal ratio is established. Ask the responsible equipment supplier to confirm the allowed media envelope and separator adjustment for the exact machine, component revision and product duty. Keep the supporting drawing or data and media specification with the approval record.

Does successful media retention prove particle size or throughput?

No. Retention is one acceptance row. Product endpoint, distribution or fineness method, flow and pressure behavior, temperature, contamination, wear, cleaning and production transfer require their own defined evidence and approval.

What separator evidence belongs in a bead-mill RFQ?

Include the exact separator mechanism and revision, product-contact and wear materials, proposed media specification and condition, supplier-confirmed compatibility envelope, representative trial observations, retention check, cleaning and inspection method, replacement identity, acceptance owners and change triggers.
