Bead-mill throughput is not the same as circulation flow, pump rate or accepted plant output.

A quoted kg/h can describe fresh material entering a single-pass route, product circulating repeatedly through a batch loop, material leaving the mill, accepted output at a stated endpoint, or production averaged across a batch, shift or campaign. The number is not comparable until its material boundary, flow path, clock, endpoint and yield treatment are named.

Three questions expose what a quoted rate actually measures.

This page audits the commercial production-rate claim. It does not choose single-pass or recirculation operation, calculate residence time, normalize specific energy, set a particle endpoint or provide a scale-up factor.

Which material movement does the rate describe?

Ask whether the field is pump or loop flow, fresh feed into one pass, gross outlet from the mill, accepted product after the agreed endpoint, or output across a complete batch, shift or campaign. A recirculating quantity can cross the mill many times without becoming new accepted output.

What product condition releases the quantity?

Attach formulation and feed state, route, sample identity, endpoint method and disposition. Product that has merely moved through the mill is not automatically accepted yield, and a named fineness or distribution remains governed by its own method record.

What time and loss boundaries are included?

Declare whether the clock includes charging, line priming, ramp-up, sampling, laboratory waiting, planned holds, interruptions, drain and recovery, cleaning and changeover. Reconcile samples, retained heel, off-spec, rework and cleaning loss before calling gross movement production yield.

Compare the rate definition and evidence—not the kg/h label.

Is bead-mill flow rate the same as production throughput?

Not automatically. A flow value may describe pump delivery, mill inlet or outlet flow, or repeated circulation through a loop. Production throughput may instead mean fresh feed, accepted outlet, batch average, shift average or campaign output. Identify the material path, quantity basis, clock and endpoint before comparing them.

Can a recirculation flow value be treated as new kg/h of product?

No. The same material can cross the mill repeatedly in a recirculation route. Record loop flow separately from fresh additions, gross discharge and accepted product. The operating-mode guide owns the route decision; this page owns the commercial meaning of the rate field.

Does gross mill discharge equal accepted yield?

No. Accepted yield needs a defined endpoint and disposition plus a material balance covering charge, additions, samples, hold-up, recovery, off-spec, rework, cleaning loss and unexplained difference. Gross movement alone does not establish accepted product.

Should cleaning and changeover time be included in throughput?

The quote must declare the clock boundary. Preserve a run-only rate separately from a batch, shift or campaign average, then state whether charging, sampling, holds, downtime, draining, cleaning and changeover are included or excluded.

Can two bead mills be compared from the same kg/h label?

Not without matching the material and feed state, mass or volume basis, operating route, configuration, endpoint, elapsed-time boundary, recovery and production window. Any difference remains visible and requires supplier and technical review.

Does this page publish JINPIONEER bead-mill capacity or yield?
